SEPTEMBER

Lecture: Thursday, September 19, 2013 7:00 PM
Kelley Hunter

Understanding Teenagers through Astrology
Astrological cycles correspond with important developmental stages during the teen years and illumine the dynamics of this significant time in the maturing process. We'll focus on the cycles of Saturn and the progressed Moon and look at the impact of Jupiter and the irregular cycle of Chiron. Examples show how some patterns follow down the generations, urging both parent and child into self-growth.

Kelley Hunter, Ph.D., C.A.P., has explored the language of the stars and mythology for over 4 decades, with perspectives from psychology, cosmology and consciousness studies. Author of Living Lilith: Four Dimensions of the Cosmic Feminine and Black Moon Lilith, Kelley has contributed to various journals, including The Mountain Astrologer and The International Astrologer. Kelley is a Connecticut native who has been living in the Virgin Islands, where she leads star-gazing nights between travels, teaching and consultation work.

OCTOBER

Frank Piechoski

Practical Mundane Astrology Why do so many astrologers try to fit history to the astrology rather than using historical research to improve forecasting accuracy? In addition to examining various techniques, the point of this lecture is to use astrology to learn from history, instead of forcing historical examples into pre-conceived astrological boxes.

Workshop: Saturday, October 19, 2013, 12:00-5:00 PM
Frank Piechoski
